Here's our top tips for helping you to keep your hair in the healthiest condition and helping it grow!


  1. When hair is wet, pat it with a towel, do not rub! This damages the cuticle.

  2. When hair is wet, use a wide toothed comb or a tangle teezer. Hair is most delicate when wet.

  3. ALWAYS use a heat protector, especially if you blow dry, straighten or curl you hair.

  4. Treat your hair to weekly deep conditioning masks. Especially if you use heat such as straighteners or curlers. Your hair is dehydrated!

  5. Don't over wash your hair. It needs its natural oils to keep your scalp healthy. Try extending to one more day by applying dry shampoo.

  6. Don't over use dry shampoo. It can block your pores.

  7. Healthy diet. Eggs, veggies, beans, nuts, fish, peanut butter, poultry.

  8. Vitamins and minerals. Iron and zinc are most important for healthy hair and growth. Zinc deficiency can cause dandruff.

  9. Less heat and lower water temperatures.

  10. Less bleaching.

  11. No tight bobbles or bands. They cause breakage. Use crocodile style clips or scrunchies.

  12. Tie long hair up in a top bun.

  13. Use a silk pillow
