About Us
Fringe was opened in July 2020 (fresh outta lockdown!) It’s only a small place with two stylists, so it’s mega chilled and intimate, allowing you to have the relaxing time you deserve. The stylists that make up Fringe were both trained in Chesterfield town centre but moved to Bolsover which is where they're both from and still live. They make it their priority to regularly attend courses and further their training, so you're getting the best most up to date techniques and knowledge from your visit. Looking after the environment is important, which is why they chose to use a brand called Davines. Their products are vegan and animal cruelty free, they are also B Corp certified which means they are a high grade sustainable and environmentally friendly brand. Their products are all packaged in recycled materials which is why we recycle every bit of salon waste possible, hair (believe it or not), all plastic including PPE, cardboard, paper and metals, all thanks to a company that goes by the name of Green Salon Collective, an amazing organization. A £1 Green Fee will be taken from each persons bill and this helps fund the returns box full of our salons waste.

Meet The Team
Kerry
Kerry is the owner of the salon, she has 16 years experience as a stylist. She has a love for precision cutting. Bobs and short hair are her favourite, although she is capable of all styles and colours. Regularly attending courses and training days to keep up to date is important to her. She also offers bridal hair within and out of the salon. She became a mum for the first time in November 2024 so is currently taking a few months break.
Lucy
Jasmine has been qualified for 5 years. She initially started at the salon part time but decided to fully commit in 2023 where she became full time. Her favourite is anything colour. Balayage and blonding especially as well as qualifying in Beauty Works extensions in 2023, she offers nano bonds, tapes She also offers her services to Kerry as her colour technician, forming the perfect team!
Lucy joined the team at the end of 2024 and has fit in perfectly. She was recently working in Chesterfield however lives near Clowne so the salon is much better for her. Which means she's building her clientele and is looking for new clients. She has 4 years experience. Loves colouring, blondes, balayages, brunettes and cutting. She also offers nano bond extensions. She can't wait to attend some courses this year and to learn bridal hair.
